post Migration - theme choice?

August 30th, 2010

So, as the tracker is up and running the next thing on my todo is to start the main website. So far, I’m leaning towards using drupal as the cms with reasonable integration with redmine.

I’m a bit lost in themes so I was wondering if you guys can help out by suggesting themes? :)

So far, I roughly need the following:

  • Blog
  • Files/plugins repository
  • Wiki
  • Forums
  • I’m not a good designer by any stretch of imagination so any other suggestions welcome

I’m migrating the website to a new server, I’m not sure at the moment if I will keep wordpress or graduate to something more flexible to allow proper plugin repositories, bug trackers and what not. I’m also getting a new domain so the final address will be pcsx2mac.net as this turned out to be my main proejct in the end.

So I would also like to know what feaures you would like to see on the new website. Comments welcome!

So, i finally finished porting zerospu2 to mac, it uses cross-platform Portaudio library instead of alsa/oss as before. You can get this plugin from binary repository(installing portaudio package is mandatory). Pcsx2/mac seems to be coming to a point where it can actually be usable :)

The comments section on the blog are becoming hard to read, so I’ve decided it’s time to start up official forums for the project. Welcome!

Anybody willing to do an official logo for the project? I don’t really like the header for the site I use right now :)

I’ll pick up developing this friday, i think, for now busy at my job ;)

    post Dirty hacks for release!

Ok, dirty hacked the debug build into release build(removed -D_DEBUG from x86 directory makefile) and got a real speed boost - around 15-20 fps

    for comparison no AA

on the other hand, i’ve found the reason for the problem I’ve read elsewhere about - the ffx videos line problem. Seems like people thought it was mostly zerogs fault but it’s something broken in release build - i.e. i didn’t get the lines before but now

well, at least it’s 10fps faster
