I think the more Mac-like thing to do in the end though would be to have plugins go in ~/Library/Application Support/pcsx2/plugins Or whatever you name the directory. While an installer placing them there for people might be useful, that's the normal place for that sort of stuff to go in general which helps keep things together, and means that different users can have their own with one application, stuff is saved by backing up Library, etc. I hope that the announced new UI wxWidgets stuff will be helpful on the Mac side too.
