Plugin repository
December 30th, 2009
As i’m now distributing pcsx2/mac as a standalone .app(well, full install is still a .pkg to carry all the necessary dependencies) it’s become a bit convoluted to access plugin directory. So I decided to provide plugin/pcsx2 updates as separate .dmg files. Yes, we are finally moving towards a more mac-like interface
The plugins and general pcsx2 betas will be available in binary repository which can also be found in Pages section on the right hand side.
I.e. here’s how i would install the ZZOgl version 0.21.204:

Excellent (and seeing continued progress as well). I think the more Mac-like thing to do in the end though would be to have plugins go in
~/Library/Application Support/pcsx2/plugins
Or whatever you name the directory. While an installer placing them there for people might be useful, that’s the normal place for that sort of stuff to go in general which helps keep things together, and means that different users can have their own with one application, stuff is saved by backing up Library, etc.
I hope that the announced new UI wxWidgets stuff will be helpful on the Mac side too. Thank you!
