This is amazing work! I really hope you can release a beta soon, I’ve been dying to have a version of PCSX2 for Mac! I know we could all use Bootcamp but I have the older PPC iMac so haha. Keep up the work dude.
Unfortunately, PPC macs are out of the question. This would require rewriting the emulator completely, it’s not just porting. And it doesn’t make any sense to try that anyway, the ppc is too underpowered to even try emulating ps2, imho…
I moved to another country and started a new job so real-life is catching up with me, that’s why no progress, I’ll continue it definitely when I get a bit more free
i stumbled accross your site and it looks very interesting and promising. I was also trying to get pcsx2 to compile under mac but i failed at the part where it looks like you need to port some of the assembler stuff which is beyond me Is there any possibility that you could share your diff-files of the work you have done so far or at least the portet asm-code?
the possibility of final fantasy X and XII playable on my macbook sometime in the near future?? they will make a movie about how great you are! so can we expect some kind of a semi-working beta in the near future? great work guys! truly an accomplishment
I’m really glad to know you’re working on it, even if now it’s september and your last post is dated August 3 ^^
I hope you’ll continue your good job and you’ll be able to make it run on Mac OS X.
I’m just sorry it’ll not run on PPC Macs, ‘cuz I use just that… but I know everyone in future have to switch to Mac Intel…
Hope you could tell us something you about this amazing app! Mac users thank you
Cool!
That’s very promising!
